MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear My/Mrs

My name is Egith Marshel. I am as student of Plant Breeding Major, Agriculural Faculty, University of Sumatera Utara. I have had experience in organisation in my campus and be an assistant of the laboratories of Agriciltural Sciences. There are Biotecnology and the Basic of Plant Breeding.

My motivation to follow this Global Youth Ambassador Programe by AIESEC is myself and my parents. In this programe there are many benefits that we can get after the exchange programme. AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organisation that providing over 16.000 international internships in 124 countries and territories each year. AIESEC provides young people the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build a personal network, work abroad, and explore the direction and ambition of their future.  

My parents have given me the support to go abroad. They have given me permitt and support my decision to apply the position as the Exchange Participants AIESEC of Local Comitee of University of Andalas with Sub unit AIESEC in University of Sumatera Utara(USU). They have understand that my participation if i have been chosen as the Exchange Participant will spend much time, thought, energy, and the financal. And they believe that all of this participation can be investation to develop my potential as a person and a proffesional, in order i can be the quality person in the future.

Then, right now i get the chance to go abroad, actually i get Cambodia as the selected country. I chose this country because i want to follow the program as the environmental Project by theme as “Clear and Clean” project. That is interesting for me as agricultural student, and certainly it can be better for me to follow this intership. The program will be held in Phnom Penh as the capital city of this Country. The program divide into some experiences such as Leadership, researching, training, preparation skill, team experiences, debating skill, writing articles, etc. My goal is       I can make a hand-writing about environmental issue expecially about air pollution in the local newspaper.

I hope with this program I can be a different person that useful for the people after a come back from abroad and give contribution to my university (USU) expecially and my country that i love, Indonesia.
